Bahrain Exhibition & Convention Authority (BECA) presented boxes of gluten-free Quinoa cookies, energy drinks, soda, and flavored water to The Palm Association on behalf of the companies who participated in the inaugural Bahrain International Natural Health Products & Green Expo 09. Green Expo 09 opened at the Bahrain International Exhibition & Convention Centre (BIEC) from February 5 to 7.

BECA, represented by Hassan Jaffar Mohamed, acting chief executive officer; Debbie Stanford-Kristiansen, deputy chief executive officer; and Mohammed Yousif, head of BECA’s sales & events department, presented the food items to The Palm Association Committee members Reem Antoon and Tess Anderson in a ceremony at the BIEC. The Palm Association is a proactive organization run by women with a sole purpose of providing help and assistance to local families.

US-based Andean Dream LLC, LIVE Energy Drink, Jones Soda Co., and ICIO, Inc. donated the gluten-free, Quinoa cookies, energy drinks, sodas, and flavored water, respectively, to charity through BECA.
